How we use TikTok and social data

We only look at mentions of our own account, @save.to.sort, and only on behalf of the person who mentioned us. Nothing else on the platform is touched.

What we read

  • The public username of the person who mentions us
  • The comment text, only to find the list name
  • The link to the video
  • Public video metadata, such as the title and thumbnail

What we never do

  • Access private accounts, direct messages, follower lists or analytics
  • Scrape TikTok
  • Sell or share TikTok data
  • Use it for advertising
  • Train models on it

How do I save a video?

Comment @save.to.sort on it. Add a list name, like "@save.to.sort dumplings", to file it straight into that list. You can also share a link from any app.

Do I need to link my TikTok account?

Linking your username lets us match your mentions to your library. You type it yourself in settings. We never ask for your TikTok password.

Which apps and sites work?

TikTok, Instagram, Threads, YouTube and any link from the web.

Can other people see what I save?

No. Your library is private. Only lists you choose to share get a public link or an invite.

How do I delete my data?
